SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN

Do you have what it takes to be our social media intern? Social Media interns at Cazayoux Creative don’t just get the coffee. They become an integral part of our organization and work while getting hands-on experience with clients, post creation, account management and more. The ideal candidate will bring organization, energy, a hunger to learn & social media savviness. 

PRINCIPAL JOB ACTIVITIES: SOCIAL MEDIA 

  • Assist in clients’ and company’s social media accounts, from strategy to daily posting
  • Support marketing by traveling on-site to capture photo and video content for TikTok and Instagram Reels
  • Maximize engagement with followers by providing timely responses to comments and direct messages
  • Collaborate on social media campaign ideas for a range of clients

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficient computer skills, experience in Adobe Creative Suite preferred
  • Knowledge of current social media trends (emphasis on staying up to date on Tiktok and Reels) 
  • Highly organized, self-disciplined and able to self-manage (works independently and takes ownership and accountability over work)
  • Aptitude for writing and social media
  • Must own a laptop and iPhone
  • At least 2 years in college toward a degree in advertising, marketing, public relations or similar fields

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Must be in the Baton Rouge area
  • Much of the work will be done remotely, however we will also meet as a team regularly
  • Must be able to travel to client events and locations in the Baton Rouge area on occasion for live reporting
  • Number of hours worked per week will depend on intern’s availability and will be determined before start date
  • Paid internship, rate to be determined based on intern’s experience and level
